Nurture Circle

A 12-week postpartum circle for mothers + babies

You were never meant to figure out postpartum or your baby alone.

Understand your baby. Understand yourself. And discover how nurturing your baby is shaping both of you.

The early months of motherhood can hold so much at once. Deep love and complete exhaustion. Wonder and uncertainty. Feeling incredibly close to your baby one moment and completely overwhelmed the next.

And underneath all of it, something extraordinary is happening:

Your baby's brain is developing, and your brain is changing, too.

Nurture Circle is a 12-week postpartum experience for mothers and their babies rooted in the neuroscience of nurturing, connection, and the developing parent–baby relationship.

Each week, we'll gather in a small circle to learn about what's happening in your baby's developing brain and nervous system, and what's happening inside you as you become their mother. There will be space to learn. Space to practice. Space to share what's actually happening. Space to be with other mothers. Space for connection and bonding.

And your baby isn't an interruption to the experience as society might want you to believe.

Your baby is part of it.

This isn't about becoming a perfectly regulated mother or learning the "right" way to parent.

It's about becoming more curious about yourself and your baby and building your capacity to meet both of you with greater awareness, compassion, and connection.

What we’ll explore together

Across our 12 weeks together, we'll explore the neuroscience of nurturing and bring it into the ordinary, messy, beautiful moments of life with a baby.

We'll talk about:

  • Your baby's developing brain and the powerful role nurturing relationships play in early development

  • Your changing maternal brain and the transformation that happens as you become a mother

  • Nurtured presence and what it means for your baby to feel seen, known, and loved

  • Connection and communication with your baby, including noticing and responding to their cues

  • Empathy, emotions, and needs, your baby's and your own

  • Infant stress and how to support your baby through difficult moments

  • Your own nervous system, including practical ways to work with stress and overwhelm in the moment

  • Infant sleep through a nurturing, developmentally informed lens

  • The complicated emotions of motherhood and making room for two things to be true at once

  • Intuition and interoception, learning to notice and trust the signals coming from within your own body

  • Self-compassion and offering yourself some of the same tenderness you so readily give your baby

You are learning your baby. Your baby is learning you.

And somewhere in the middle of all that feeding, waking, holding, soothing, questioning, loving, worrying, and beginning again,

both of your brains are changing.

You don't have to navigate that transformation alone.

Come spend 12 weeks learning about the extraordinary relationship developing between you and your baby while being held in relationship and community yourself.

What a Nurture Circle looks like

We'll begin by arriving; not just physically but in our bodies.

Each gathering includes a simple grounding practice to help you settle into the space, followed by intentional time connecting with your baby.

From there, we'll explore that week's teaching and then move into a practice that helps bring what we're learning out of our heads and into our actual lives.

Next we will take time to share in circle. Because sometimes the most regulating thing isn't another piece of information. It's sitting across from another mother and realizing:

Oh. You too.

We'll close our time together with a simple ritual before heading back into the rest of our day.

Over the 12 weeks, the rhythm becomes familiar, a place to return to, reconnect, and continue growing alongside your baby.

Meet Your Facilitator

Hi, I’m Lesha. I’m a trauma-informed somatic practitioner, occupational therapist, and craniosacral therapist specializing in pregnancy, postpartum, babies, and the nervous system.

I’m also a Nurture Neuroscience practitioner, bringing the science of early brain development and nurturing relationships into the real, everyday experience of motherhood.

My work has always centered around the same question: How do we support the baby while also supporting the mother who is doing the nurturing?

Nurture Circle brings those pieces together. We’ll explore what neuroscience is teaching us about your baby’s developing brain, your changing maternal brain, attachment, regulation, and connection while making room for the very human experience of becoming a mother.

I’ll be there to teach and guide our practices, but also to hold a warm, judgment-free space where you and your baby can show up exactly as you are.
